PRACTICAL GUIDE · EVERYDAY PROMPTS
ChatGPT can help you organize an exercise plan around your routine.
By explaining your goals, availability, training location, equipment and preferences, you can receive an initial structure to review and adapt with a qualified professional.

I wanted a workout that truly fit my routine
I told ChatGPT how many days I could train, how much time I had, what my goals were, what equipment I would have and which movements or situations needed extra care.
From that information, it organized a monthly plan split into workouts, with exercises, sets, reps, rest, general load guidance and links to demonstrations.
The result did not come from a generic question. The clearer the context, the more useful the first version of the plan tends to be.
What the plan can include
- Workout split
- Exercises
- Sets and reps
- Rest intervals
- Initial load or difficulty guidance
- Gym alternatives
- Home alternatives
- Bodyweight-only exercises
- Links to demonstrations
- Essential and optional exercises
- Four-week progression
- Reorganization when your routine changes
The plan can be updated when your availability, equipment or goals change. Every new version still needs to be reviewed before you follow it.
The delivery format may vary depending on your account
This prompt can be used with both free and paid ChatGPT accounts.
With a free account, ChatGPT can create the monthly plan directly in the conversation, using text, lists and organized tables.
With a paid account, when the selected model and environment have file creation tools available, ChatGPT may also produce an Excel spreadsheet and an HTML guide to download.
Even on paid accounts, the availability of these tools may vary by model, platform, region and feature rollout. If the files cannot be created, the full plan should be delivered in the conversation.
See the plan ChatGPT created for me
This is the guide ChatGPT created after I shared my goals, my routine, the time I had, the gym setup, my preferences and my limitations.
The result was organized for use on a phone, with expandable workouts, essential and optional exercises, sets, reps, rest, guidance and links to demonstrations.
This is my personal plan and it was created from the information I provided. It shows the kind of format that can be produced, but it should not be used as a workout recommendation for anyone else.

Before following any exercise plan
ChatGPT does not perform a physical assessment, does not watch how you perform the exercises and does not automatically know your health history. Its answers may contain errors, unsuitable recommendations or movements that do not fit your needs.
If you have pain, an injury, a limitation or a medical condition, are pregnant, have had surgery or have been given any restriction, seek professional guidance before starting or changing your training.
Stop exercising and seek appropriate guidance if you feel unusual pain, loss of strength, numbness, tingling, dizziness, unexpected shortness of breath or any other concerning symptom.
This content is for educational and organizational purposes. It does not replace a medical or physical therapy assessment or supervision by a qualified exercise professional.
How to use this guide
This prompt can be used with both free and paid ChatGPT accounts.

Even on a paid account, the availability of these tools may vary. If the files are not created, the full plan should be delivered as text.

Artificial intelligence helps organize and personalize training, but it does not replace an assessment by a qualified exercise professional. People with pain, injuries, limitations or medical conditions, pregnant people and anyone recovering from surgery should seek professional guidance before starting.
Copy and personalize the prompt
Replace all the information in brackets with your own details. Do not copy someone else's information and do not leave out relevant pain, injuries, limitations or professional guidance.

A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER
Artificial intelligence can organize possibilities. The final decision remains human.
I use artificial intelligence to turn scattered information into clearer and more actionable plans. But especially when health is involved, the result needs to be reviewed with good judgment and, when necessary, by a qualified professional.
