Starting from scratch
Try this: Organize a fictional work week with Claude. Compare the result with your instructions and identify what needs checking. The last two courses can be taken in either order.
PRACTICAL GUIDE · FREE COURSES
You do not need to take 27 courses. You need a first course that fits what you want to learn. Anthropic’s Claude Academy brings together free courses for beginners, business owners, creatives, educators and developers. We organized the catalog to help you move from browsing to practice.

These sequences are Morieli suggestions, not official prerequisites. Added durations are catalog estimates, not learning guarantees. Skip what you already know and choose a real application to practice.

Try this: After the starter path, continue to Small Businesses. Use fictional orders to draft a customer reply and review the details before sending.
03 · 15h estimated
Try this: After the foundations, continue to Creative Work. Create three brief options for a fictional campaign and choose one using your own criteria, not the AI’s preference.
04 · 5h 30min estimated
Try this: Prepare a learning activity with an objective, exercise and assessment criteria. For school contexts, choose pK-12 Educators instead of Educators. To teach others, take Teaching AI Fluency or pK-12 Train the Trainer after the foundations. The time shown adds only Foundations + Educators.
05 · 7h estimated
Try this: Write a fictional user’s problem, define a small prototype and list three criteria for deciding whether it solves the problem.
06 · 2h 30min estimated
Try this: Use a test project to propose a small change, review the code and run tests. Do not start with a live customer system.
07 · 11h 30min estimated
Try this: Build a prototype with fictional data, an API call and a test tool. Advanced topics can follow the MCP introduction. Bedrock and Vertex AI are alternatives for your cloud, not mandatory sequential courses with overlapping content.
08 · 3h 15min estimated
Try this: Outline a pilot: task, human owner, review criteria and a continuation decision. The courses support adoption and team planning, not a replacement for your judgment.

Open official courseA free personal Claude account is enough to save your Academy progress and earn badges. This walkthrough follows the official FAQ; Morieli has not tested the account signup flow.
Go to claude.ai and use the personal account where you want to keep your learning history.
At academy.claude.com, choose Sign in. Academy sends you to Claude to authorize and then returns. Check which account is active before approving.
Open your course and start while signed in. Your account keeps your progress and associated courses.
Watch or read lessons, take notes and apply one idea. Check the subtitle options available for each lesson. Use transcripts or text when available; Portuguese subtitles are not confirmed for every course.
Pass each required quiz, including a final assessment when the course has one. Check that quiz’s own passing rule; no universal passing score is confirmed. Retakes are unlimited with no mandatory wait, and you only retake the quiz you missed.
For badge-bearing courses, the badge is issued after the last required quiz is passed. If your name could not be filled in, open the course to claim it. Finishing lessons alone is not enough.
Open your badge from the Academy dashboard and choose Download PDF or Add to LinkedIn. Check the course name, issuer and issue date against the badge when completing LinkedIn fields; use the public verification link as the credential URL. You can also share that link directly.
A badge records course completion. It is not the same credential as a professional certification earned through an exam.
FAQ officialUse these as text in Claude or ChatGPT, with the lesson material as your source. These are Morieli prompts, not Anthropic prompts. Keep AI suggestions separate from original lesson information. Do not paste confidential data.
Help me organize a study plan. My goal is [goal], I have [available time per week] and my experience is [experience]. Use only this catalog or course material as your source: [paste catalog or material]. Suggest a short sequence and explain why each step fits my goal. Separate “Source information” from “AI suggestions”. Do not invent prerequisites, durations or badges. Treat source times as estimates without promising learning speed. Ask for missing details before completing the plan.
Fill the bracketed fields with your goal and lesson text. Check the response against the original source.
Translate this material from [original language] to [target language]: [paste excerpt]. Preserve meaning, examples and technical terms; keep the original term in parentheses on first use when helpful. Do not insert explanations into the translation. Separate “Source-based translation” from “Translation uncertainties”. Mark ambiguities and say when context is insufficient. Label any suggested interpretation as an AI suggestion, not a statement from the course.
Fill the bracketed fields with your goal and lesson text. Check the response against the original source.
Summarize this excerpt in exactly five points: [paste lesson text]. Use only the supplied text. Include a short supporting quote from the source for each point. Do not fill gaps with outside knowledge. If the excerpt does not support five distinct ideas, say so without inventing them. Then, in a separate “AI suggestions” section, propose two review questions. Always distinguish lesson content from your suggestions.
Fill the bracketed fields with your goal and lesson text. Check the response against the original source.
I want to understand [concept]. Use this source: [paste lesson excerpt]. First explain it in simple language without adding facts absent from the source. Then offer an analogy in an “AI-created analogy” section and state where it stops representing the concept. End with a question to check my understanding. If the source does not explain the concept, say what is missing rather than guessing.
Fill the bracketed fields with your goal and lesson text. Check the response against the original source.
Create a practice quiz based only on this lesson: [paste text]. This is an AI-created exercise, not the real Academy quiz. Ask one question at a time and wait for my answer; do not reveal the answer or hints before my attempt. Then assess it with a supporting source excerpt, explain any error and only then ask the next question. Use [number of questions] questions. Do not invent a passing grade or claim this practice guarantees passing the course.
Fill the bracketed fields with your goal and lesson text. Check the response against the original source.
Compare my explanation with the source. Source: [paste lesson text]. My explanation: [paste your explanation]. Separate “Correct and supported”, “Imprecise or contradictory” and “Not verifiable in this excerpt”. Cite the relevant passage for each correction. Do not attribute absent information to the lesson. In “AI suggestion”, propose a revised version and one question that helps me address the main gap.
Fill the bracketed fields with your goal and lesson text. Check the response against the original source.
I want to apply a lesson idea to my work in [role or business type]. My task is [task], with these constraints: [constraints]. Source: [paste excerpt]. First list only what the lesson actually says. Then, in “AI suggestions for my work”, propose a small application using fictional data, a human review step and criteria for usefulness and accuracy. Do not invent results, integrations or skills I have not provided. Ask questions if context is missing.
Fill the bracketed fields with your goal and lesson text. Check the response against the original source.
Help me plan a small project about [goal], using only what this material supports: [paste content]. I have [available time and resources]. Separate “Lesson basis” from “AI-suggested project”. Define a limited deliverable, fictional data, execution steps and three observable review criteria: source fidelity, usefulness and errors or risks. Include a pause for my review before moving on. Do not promise results or create unstated dependencies. Clearly flag anything that goes beyond the lesson.
Fill the bracketed fields with your goal and lesson text. Check the response against the original source.
A suggested routine, not a deadline for finishing a course. Adapt it to your time.
